Kid Car NY provides safe, comfortable, and convenient transport to children and parents throughout Manhattan by providing specially trained drivers in kid-friendly, luxury minivans with professionally-installed child safety seats.
We are looking for a day dispatcher who has a great attitude, great attention to detail, and most importantly, wants to grow and learn (no joke, we’ve got books for you to read) with a great new company that people are talking about.
Since we’re a different kind of car service, we’re looking for a different kind of dispatcher. We are looking for someone who is tech savvy, detail oriented, friendly (2 out of 3 won’t cut it) and wants to learn (because we like to teach).
You are:
- INCREDIBLY detail oriented and triple check your work (because errors are discovered the THIRD time, not the second)
- VERY comfortable with computers: Internet, Excel (sorting and parsing information), Outlook (which we rely on for communication and reminders), Typing (for accuracy)
- Have a great phone presence. Our customers have a lot of questions, and we’ll give you the tools to answer most of them (the rest you’ll need be smart enough to ‘fake’).
- Will come up with the answer to the questions we haven’t asked
